About The Position:

All of this position is remote.  We are seeking someone who has a quiet home office without distraction, and someone who can focus.  Ideal candidate will be reliable and consistent.  Must be able to turn in completed work within 3-4 calendar days.  

Your job will be listening to digital audio of court proceedings, against a rough transcript (word for word) while making edits & corrections along the way.

We are all digital, providing clear audio.

Ideal Candidate:

Will have own equipment: computer, foot pedal, headset, and MS Word.  Must understand court transcript formatting, and the verbiage used in the legal setting.  Have excellent English and grammar skills, excellent hearing, and must value communication and timeliness. Ideal candidate will be an entrepreneur or have an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to meet deadlines.  You will be required to listen to audio while editing.

Minimum Requirements:

2 Years Experience

(Legal Transcription, Legal Editor, Proofreading, Stenography or Scoping) 

Required experience must be reflected on Resume

Additional Information:

You will be tested for this position. The interview process will require 1-2 Professional References of former or current supervisors, or clients that you have serviced in the recent past, or currently service.

This is an independent contractor position with a pay period of every 2 weeks.
